Derek Lyons FCII, Managing Director
Derek has over 40 years insurance experience, having started his career with Norwich Union. He managed a successful insurance brokerage for 17 years which was part of the Towergate Group before leaving to join LDS Associates in 2015. Derek believes that one of the most important aspects of insurance broking is to consistently deliver a high level of quality personalised service to clients.

Sandra Jackson, PA to Derek Lyons
Sandra has over 40 years experience in the insurance industry and provides invaluable support to the Managing Director and to the entire broking team to help ensure that the office operates to maximum efficiency.
Sean Smith, Account Director
Sean has been looking after the insurance need of clients for in excess of 30 years having previously worked at J H Minet, Edgar Hamilton and Towergate Insurance as an Account Executive and Sales Manager. Sean believes in the personal touch.

Nicky Dulieu, Client Service Director
Nicky started her insurance career at Commercial Union in 1995 prior to joining Towergate Insurance in 2001 and progressing to the position of Client Service Manager. Nicky joined LDS Associates in 2015 and explains her role.

Rosemary Coker, Account Director
Rosemary worked as a Commercial Underwriter with Royal Insurance and Dominion before moving into the insurance broking sector in 1990. She now handles all aspects of commercial insurance for her portfolio of clients including new business and renewals.

Keith Sharp, Senior Commercial Account Handler
Keith commenced his insurance career in 1978 as a Lloyds Broker and worked at Lambert Fenchurch before joining Lock Associates in 2002, transferring to LDS Associates in 2015. His many years experience in commercial broking and global risk programmes have given him an excellent understanding of how to meet client’s needs.

Maria Gott, Commercial Account Handler
Maria has nearly 35 years experience in general insurance broking and previously worked at Lock Associates before transferring to LDS Associates in 2015. Maria enjoys her client facing role and has longstanding relationships with many clients that she has worked with over the years.
Philip Pether, Commercial Account Handler
Philip initially trained as an underwriter when he joined the insurance industry in 1972 before moving into a sales development role with Hiscox Insurance. In 1997 he re-trained as an insurance broker and worked at Cranham Spinks Insurance until its acquisition by LDS Associates in 2015. Philip thrives on quality service and has enjoyed client loyalty over many years.
Peter White, Commercial Account Handler
Peter has over 10 years experience in commercial insurance underwriting and broking and joined LDS in August 2016. Peter works with and supports the Account Directors in delivering a highly professional service.
Paul Goldsmith, Development Director
Paul has worked in the insurance industry for over 35 years including 15 years as owner of his own insurance broking business. During this time he has managed all classes of insurance including personal, commercial and taxi and joined LDS in April 2016.

Andy Mills, Sales Executive
Andy has worked in the insurance industry for 17 years both underwriting and broking and works closely with Paul Goldsmith in business development.
Alasdair Haswell, Claims Management Executive
With over 6 years broking experience gained at Towergate Insurance Alasdair provides a risk and claims management service for LDS Associates clients, supporting them from the commencement of the claim process through to final settlement. Alasdair also works closely with clients in managing risk and monitoring claims activity.
Jenny Cole, Insurance Broking Accounts Manager
Jenny has worked with Insurance Broking Accounts for in excess of 40 years and was previously at Towergate Insurance managing the regional accounts office with a team of five. Jenny joined LDS Associates in 2015.
Gillian Clarke, Senior Accounts Assistant
Gill has nearly 30 years experience in the insurance broking industry having been with Lock Associates for 7 years before it became part of LDS Associates. Gill’s experience and knowledge of the business is an invaluable asset.
Stephanie Clampett, Office Manager/ Risk & Compliance
With over 30 years experience in the insurance industry Stephanie is responsible for the smooth running of the LDS Associates office including purchasing, recruitment, IT, risk and compliance. Stephanie explains how customers are at the very heart of the business.
